I am a French Canadian, who currently lives in Brussels with my boyfriend. My first backpack trip goes back to 2016, and there were so many things I wish I knew before I started my journey. Since then I have lived in three different countries in Europe, once as an intern, then as an Aupair and now as a student.
We all know traveling can be pretty expensive, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do it. There are many ways to travel without breaking your piggy bank and live the best experience of your life. This blog is about sharing different things I have learned while backpacking and highlighting some of the best experiences I had through my traveling journey.
For me, traveling is all about getting out of my comfort zone. It has taught me to be more open to the world and let myself sink in other cultures and it has allowed me to meet countless amazing and interesting people.
My passion for traveling is what pushed me to switch my field of study from Psychology to international relations and politics. I am now a second year master student in International Studies and I will be pursuing my academic journey as a PhD student in Political Science in September 2023.
